BUILDING OUR BACKYARD

This is our backyard right now. Travis has been working really hard every weekend to prepare for an artificial turf yard and raised flower beds.

NO LONGER A BABY

A few days ago, we converted Mia's crib into a toddler's bed. She was so excited, you can tell that she no longer liked sleeping in her crib. It is so neat how she arranged her stuffed animals on the bed. She is growing so fast, but we are trying to enjoy every minute of it.

She loves to get on the swing everytime we take her to her grandparents house.

MY NEW HOBBIE

A few months ago I told Travis that I would like to learn photography. We had some pictures taken in December and I really admired the work of our photographer; that is how I got inspired to learn. For my birthday Travis gave me a new Digital Canon SLR camera, it is such a nice camera and I love it. Here are a few of the first shots I've taken so far. I know I have a long way to go but  I know I will get better. Let me know what you think.

TRIP TO FLAGSTAFF

We took Mia to play in the snow for new years eve. We had such a  nice time that we decided to make this trip a tradition for every year.

CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATOR

Mia helped us to decorate this year's christmas tree. We bought some non breakable ornaments just for her and she was putting them at the bottom of the tree.
